Mugabi Miracles Missions is Christian-based ministry, with a focus to be a vessel for creating lasting
community smiles.
Born in the slums of Ggaba near the shores of Lake Victoria, Judah Kikawa was raised by a single mother who struggled on her own to bring him up and other siblings. Under the partnership of Gaba Community Church with Compassion International, the community of Ggaba got the opportunity to register vulnerable children from families under the child sponsorship program of Compassion International.
I was registered in 1998 up to 2014. Compassion International’s intervention in my life and the lives of other children inspired me to give back to communities as I got older. During the COVID-19 shutdown in 2020, families faced the financial burden of feeding their loved ones.
I saw a need to share this with friends who contributed towards my vision and we started food distributions, and we saw families getting back on their feet with smiles on their faces.
Seeing a great need in so many communities, I wanted to give back to my community by bringing smiles to vulnerable children and families. This gave birth to Mugabi Missions Ministry.
Our sustainability projects have already benefited communities like Buwambo, but there is still much more to be done. You can be part of this amazing story of love.
We have developed a water safety program to provide clean and safe water to those in need by installing water tanks in households to harvest water.
Through our hands-on technical skills, we aim to reduce unemployment by equipping youths with skills in Metalworks, Bakery, Tailoring, and brick laying and other skills.
Our Food Relief program has put smiles on the faces of families who can not afford family basic needs. Since
2020 Mugabi has provided over 2,500 food baskets to vulnerable families in the community.
